Introduction
As a Mendix developer, you will learn about testing. You will be introduced to test techniques and methodologies by an enthusiastic and experienced test manager.
After this 1-day introductory training you will be familiar with the most important terms and methodologies used by testers. You know how the quality of modelled Mendix applications can be tested on several important aspects. As a result, as a developer in an agile team you will work better together with testers.
You will learn about risk analysis, and about fundamental testing approaches and principles to find or to prevent errors. You will understand how and why testers define tests to check aspects such as usability, functionality, performance, and security of the applications you develop.
The differences between exploratory, manual, and automated testing are clarified and demonstrated. The most common software tools used to automate testing and to guarantee the correct operation of applications are discussed. As a developer you will learn about best practices and tips to improve collaboration and communication with testers.
