Introduction

Change is too disruptive without proof. People aren’t very open to change based on hypothetical situations. They need to see proof with their own eyes before committing to large-scale change. Presales can demonstrate the possibilities of the Mendix platform. But this is only effective when you know what meets the interest of the customer. People, process, platform and portfolio must be applied properly for success.

During this course, the presales engineer will be taught how to extract the best out of the Mendix platform in a presales setting. A presales engineer is not only the one who has to build the app, but also the one who works with stakeholders to create a proof of concept that really adds value to the business. In addition, the presales consultant must implement and demonstrate it. Therefore, an important aspect of this course is how to find the customer’s pain and how to address it in the best way possible, setting up the PoC team and developing a Mendix proof of concept that is suitable for Mendix and for presales.
