Introduction

Every developer knows this problem: you have successfully built your functionalities, you have reviewed and tested them and then you get the feedback that your app is slow on Production or even that it crashes. How do you find the problem and more importantly, how do you fix it?

In this advanced workshop ‘Keep performance in mind’, we start by going over some important knowledge you need to understand, before diving into the performance challenge. Such as database, XAS (application server), and client (user).

The first part of the workshop will focus on the different places you can explore when analyzing your problems. During the second part, we will show you some go-to’s when building or refactoring your app in Mendix.

Note that in this workshop, the focus will only be on the Mendix cloud stack, and we will not instruct on using third party tools to further analyze performance.
